Maybelline Master Conceal Review
My latest First Impression Review is on the Maybelline Master Concealer. It claims to camouflage imperfections, dark circles, have full coverage and high resistance. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this NEW Maybelline Concealer.
One of the things that I like is that it has precision tip. It makes it more sanitary for use and helps save product with packaging like this.
For this review I am using the shade light medium. From just a swatch I think that the coverage is pretty good!
After applying and comparing it to the two sides, I do notice that the concealed under eye does make my under eye brighter and the color is opaque. For applying the concealer, I preferred using my finger rather than a brush.
After just the first application, I’m impressed. It set right away, it’s lightweight and thin consistency. For the purpose of this review I decided to not use any setting powder over concealer so I could really test the lasting power.
I did a flash photo test and I liked how my skin looked radiant and the concealer didn’t stand out more than the foundation in the photo.
But when I checked in late afternoon, it was bad news. Under my eye I noticed it was pretty dry, but everywhere else I applied the concealer, it looked fine.
At the end of the night, the concealer dried out a lot more. Plus, I noticed a blemish begin to appear under my eye, which has never happened to me.
-I liked how it applied.
– It had high coverage after just 1 layer.
-The color selection was good.
-It set quickly.
-The price point is great at under $10.
-This concealer emphasized my lines.
– It began to dry under my eyes as the day went on.
-It may cause acne.
I wouldn’t rely on the Maybelline Master Conceal for all day wear. If I were to use this concealer again, I would probably only use this for a photoshoot or event where I would only wear it for only several hours.
