Automatic Curler First Impression Review
During a stop at the drugstore I saw the KISS Instawave curling iron. I’ve never seen a curling iron that looked like this so I wanted to give it a try and do a review. It claims to instantly create curls with ease, that last all day.
Although the Instawave iron looks pretty bulky it’s surprisingly very light. This is a plus with hair tools for me, since it can get tiring holding a heavy tool while styling (especially if you have a lot of hair!)
One thing I disliked about it as soon as I plugged it in, was the slight buzzing noise it made.
I thought it was neat that there are options of which way you want the tool to curl and the touch of button. At first I had difficulty getting used to it, since it’s a little different then your average curling iron.
But once I had the hang of it, the process went by quickly. I found that with the KISS Instawave curling iron , the trick is to take medium size sections and place it on the barrel to latch on. Anything too small will not grab and anything too big will slow the Instawave iron down and not curl your hair.
It took about 5-6 strands to get the technique down, and by the time I got to the top layer it was a breeze!
Once I was done, I really liked the way that the curls turned out!
The only cons I had with the Instawave Iron was the buzzing noise of the iron and just getting used to utilizing the button to change the direction of the curl.
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first because the KISS Instawave curling iron just looks so different, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Overall, I loved that it created curls that were bouncy, full and shiny!
